Hosts & guides
The quality of the experience we offer our guests is totally dependent on the passion and skills of everyone they come into contact with during their time with us, the most important of which are our hosts and guides.
All our staff share certain things in common, including their passion for and love of Spain, its language and culture, their professionalism and care, but above all their communication skills and their sense of fun.
Estas son algunas de las personas que podrían encontrarse:
Marina Grijalba
Marina is as strong an advocate of Rioja as you could ever hope to meet. She descends from a family of grape farmers and wine makers, and often claims to have been born amongst vines. That said, it clearly wasn’t too bad an experience, judging by her love of Riojan wine! She is a source of knowledge on Riojan history and culture and loves to share legends and tales with anyone mad enough to listen!
Diego Iturriaga
Diego is completely passionate about Spanish history, art and culture in all its forms (painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, film, literature, etc.) and loves nothing more than helping others to share his enjoyment of Spain. He is also a mad fan of Barcelona Football Club!
Rubén is a university professor at Syracuse University, Madrid. Since specialising in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, he has since pioneered many new ways of learning which have been universally respected and has extensive experience in teaching Spanish to students from around the world. Having also been trained as an actor, Rubén has designed and developed various theatre workshops at the American University and in different Spanish cultural centres.
